Creating a Highlight Video
Below are the steps required to record a highlight video from authorized sources on youtube. This is a quick and easy way to creating a video that you can put on your College recruiting pages.
Required Software
These steps will work with Windows, Mac, and Linux machines.
- Download Firefox
- Download OBS
- It's best to record with two monitors, Run firefox with the youtube video on one, and OBS on the other
Preparing your software
Download Firefox and OBS from the links above. Once you have installed the software you will be ready to go with recording videos from youtube. Firefox is required as Chrome and Edge sometimes record black screens when screen recording on youtube.
- Install Firefox in the default location
- When installing OBS, choose all the plugins and the default location
Viewing your Videos
