Unsettled Recover 6 on 6
Often times middies coming down the field to play defense get confused as to who to cover. This drill helps the defense recover from a fast break or unsettled offense.
- Have 3 attack and 3 defense get into position
- At the top of the box have 2 offensive middies and 1 defensive middy
- At near the midline, have 1 offensive middie and 2 defensive middies
- Ball starts at the box line, and starts as 5 on 4 then the others must recover and get their man
- Make sure we cut with our offensive middies alot to make the defense stay with their man
- Work on putting yourself in between man and goal, and running to the hole
