Y Drill from X

  • Stress "Dodge to Score"
  • Draw the double

The offensive goal is for the attack and the middie to move the ball quickly, dodge hard, and try to confuse the defense slides.

The defensive goal is to slide effectively without over committing.


  • 4 Offensive and 4 Defensive (can use goalie if you want)
  • 2 attack behind the goal one starting with the ball
  • 1 attack on the crease and 1 middie just outside the box
  • Defense should setup to cover their men
  • Drill starts with an attack man dodging. When the attack beats his man, the D on the crease slides. The other defense slides and the d middie becomes the recovery.
  • Middie should cut and attack should look to rotate
