Time Drill
5 Min Active Stretching
10 Min 5 man in a 2-2-1 zip and skip
10 Min Alley Dodge with Pull Pass and Shot
  • Explain a pull pass across your body, moves the ball 1-2 seconds quicker
  • 3 Lines up top
  • First guy Dodges down the alley, hit a cone then pull passes to the center guy
  • center guy moves it to the 3rd guy for the outside shot
  • New guy goes, run to the line you pass to
  • Switch Sides
  • Variation: do top and bottom at the same time



10 Min Two Man pick and roll shooting at top and bottom
10 Min 2 v 1 GB
  • Teaching point is to call out "Ball/Man"
  • Make 3 lines of kids
  • The outside two lines are on the same team
  • Coach rolls out a ball
  • The two man team does Ball/Man and both must touch the ball
  • Box Out, no slapping sticks
  • Variation: Put a goalie in cage, and add an another defender and offensive guy, and turn it into a 3 on 2


5 Min Water
10 Min Picking up cutters
  • two feeders behind the cage
  • pass the ball back and forth
  • 2 defenders and 2 offensive guys top of the box
  • defenders head on a swivle yelling which player has the ball while watching their guy
  • offensive guys cut, defender denies the cut
  • defender should what the cutter's hips not his head, shoulders or eyes

20 Min 6 v 6 Half Field
