5 Min Active Stretching
  • Goal, Swax Lax, Bucket Balls, Cones
  • Clearing in the middle and attack popping to get the ball
  • Ground Balls
  • Sliding, and taking body, and away recovering to the hole
16 min Stretching
  • Calves
  • Hamstring
  • Hips
  • Quads

Running

  • High Knees
  • Bounding
10 Min Saints Passing Drill
  • 3 man passing drill, two cones about 10-15 yards apart
  • First: catch the ball near the collar bone and throw quickly back, run it three times right hand. Pass the ball to the guy running, then all the way over, then back to the runner.
  • Second: Same thing, but catcher does a look back fake with a little turn of the head
  • Third: Split dodge figure 8 around the guys, catch and split
  • Four: Catch and wind up fake then pass

10 Min Line Bump Drill
  • Defensive guys try not to intercept
  • Phase 1 - Approach and Recover
    • 3 Cones in a line, 10-15 yards between cones
    • groups of 6, (3 dark and 3 light), each pair are on the cone
    • Middle cone acts like a crease guy, cover the middle guy and keep passing back and forth between outside cones
    • Pass the ball from one side to the other
  • Phase 2 - Sliding
    • Offensive outside guys try to dodge to middle cone, look to draw slide, inside guy slides and yells "away"
    • Offensive outside guy try to hit the guy in the middle, if he doesn't pass to the other cone



10 Min Alley Dodge - Curl - Shoot Drill
  • Line in the middle with two cones about in a funnel 10 yards above cage about 10 feet apart
  • Two trashcans on the edge of the 5 by 5
  • Two coaches feeding by the line to the trashcan lines
  • Line in the middle dodges and picks the open side, shoots, then curls around the trashcan, receives a pass and shoots over the trashcan to the middle goal
  • Good moves up top with a split and shoot on the run, then work on getting our hands high over the trashcan

5 Min Devil Ground Ball Drill
  • Bring an extra long pole
  • 4 guys in the drill
  • Ball on the ground about a yard in front of the guy scooping the ball, about 2 yards away are two chasers, off to the side is an outlet guy
  • On whistle scoop through the GB, arms tight to the body
  • Run through the ball, keep it going your way, Make a big turn with the ball to escape pressure, ball carrier and outlet guy communicate
  • Defense don't kill the ball handler
  • Switch the outlet and GB guy, then rotate defense to GB and outlet (switching long poles)



10 Min Team defense adjustments
  • Dodger outside of the box, slide, pinch and take away the middle, away guy needs to recover
  • P&P Dry Run
  • Amigo Dry Run
15 Min Clears
  • Quick Strike: Look to where the shot came from
