Free Play

  • Free play really helps the kids get creative

Feed the cats, Tony Holler - track coach

  • Sprint don't run, Quality > Quantity
  • Perform in practice, moderate exercise never leads to extreme performance
  • Eliminate conditioning, do it in practice
  • Alternate "high" and "low" practices

Create Game-Like Environments

  • Use drills that are in context for the game, for example 1v1 is too easy. West Genny is fun, but not context
  • Find a balance, should be 3v3 to 6v6 or full field game
