Running

  • High Knees
  • Bounding
10 Min Alley Dodge to crease pop passing
  • Have two lines top of the box and two guys in the crease
  • One guy alley dodges, as he gets past the crease guy he pops, and mirrors pass, the alley dodge rolls out and passes to the outside
  • The guy that catches the ball passes the ball across, and do the same thing.
  • Alley Dodger moves to the crease

10 Min Salisbury Shooting Drill
  • 3 guys in the drill, Can put cones where you want the dodger and crease guy to goto.
  • line of dodgers and balls top center
  • Line of shooters on the high wing
  • Begin with a player on the crease
  • Dodger dodges as a sweep, crease guy mirrors and pops and receives the pass and moves to the left shooter
5 Min Fumble Ground Ball Drill

This drill is a 2v2 that works on ball/man teamwork on ground balls, and helps offensive players to circle back or get to green space to make a quick pass to his teammate.

  • Start with two lines of guys in two different colors
  • Coach gently rolls out a ball and a 2v2 battle for the ball
  • As a player gains possession of the ball he is immediately jumped and double teamed by the two opposite players
  • This forces the ball carrier to run out of pressure through circling back or running to green space
  • The player then looks to pass to his teammate
