Game Review
- Positives
- First Game - 8 of 10 goals assisted, we took the right shots at the right time
- Second Game - Hard fought never gave up
- Third Game - Nearly perfectly played, everyone did their job well
- Negatives
- 3 Man Press in the 2nd game
- When coaches talk to refs, huddle around the other coaches dont pay attention to it
- Man Up and Man Down - All middies come off the field
- Defense is holding onto the ball too long, need to pass it to a when you are about to get doubled
- Clear could have been better in the 1st game
- Awards
- 3rd Middie Line - defensive powerhouse, no goals, tired out the offense (Oli, Timmy, Dax)
- RJ - Beast in goal and on defense
- Sean - Defensive beast we let in 10 total goals in 3 games

3v1 - 3v2 Shooting
https://www.hoganlax.com/3v1-3v2-shooting
- Drill is useful for teaching midfield to shoot under pressure
- Starts as a 3v1 and can be changed to 3v2 to make the midfield read the field
Setup
- Have a goalie, 1 line of defense to the side at GLE, 1 line of attack in the back, 2 lines of midfield up at midline
- Balls start at x, the attack makes a cut around the crease with the defense in front of the goal in ready position
- The attack picks a middie to pass to, defense slides and applies pressure (the attack is out of the play and so is the other middie) its just 1v1
- Next, change it to 3v2, its the same setup except 2 defense and when the attack makes a pass the midfield work together. The first middie to receive the pass must read the defense and either shoot or pass.

Steal the Bacon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9U3Mm5vpP4
- No rakes, slapping sticks, only scooping through and keeping the ball moving forward. You lose if you do bad things
- Divide the team into two groups (Dark and Light)
- Have the lineup in the restraining line on either side of the box in a single file line
- Coach has the balls in the middle of the field
- Put a goalie in the cage
- Coach calls out two numbers (2 and 2) and two guys go from each line
- Coach can call 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 3 v 2, etc
- The coach rolls out the ball and they compete, whoever gets the ball goes to score
- Keep score and keep it competitive.
