Time Drill
5 Min Active Stretching
10 Min Triangle Passing Drill

This drill is meant to be an alternative to line drills and gets many touches for kids passing and catching.

  • Have your kids get in groups of 3 and form a triangle
  • Make sure kids are moving their feet slightly when catching and throwing
  • Do some of the following
    • Pass and Catch with the outside hand, switching hands
    • Pass all righty or lefty
    • Push Pass
    • Throw backs, kids starting moving in one direction and throw back to the person behind them
    • Catch and Roll dodge
    • Ground ball roll while rotating
    • 3 guys in a line with quick passing
5 Min Water
10 Min 3 Man Inside
  • Crease guy moves towards the ball, has his defender look to slide, then backs out
  • Cutting guy draws the double, rolls back, passes to top guy, then quick pass to the crease guy who is backing out

5 Min Water
10 Min Offense
  • Line up kids in the number positions
  • Run double numbers 33 and 55
  • Run 32, 51, 15, 23 trigger
  • Run 21 and 12
  • Run 66
  • Run 32, 51
  • Run 53, 35
15 Min Stations Shooting and Defense
  • Rotate a middie line at a time in between the two stations

Station 1: Middies and Attack

  • Power and Finesse
  • Trigger shooting

Station 2: Defense

  • The line of middies is on offense
  • Coach is behind the goal with balls
  • A line of defenders is with the coach, one goes out into the hole
  • Middies are halfway between the box and GLE
  • Coach passes to the middie, defense men approaches him correctly (landing on heels)
  • Middie then goes 1 on 1, everytime the stick is raised the defender pokes and looks to funnel him out
