Time Drill
5 Min Active Stretching
  • Bring girls stick, goalie pants & shin guards, backpack, ladder
10 Min Passing and Catching
  • Where to position hands when throwing and catching
  • Pass and take a step back
10 Min Stance in goal aka ready position
  • Back is straight, arms about shoulder width apart
  • stick off the body, arms at 90 degree angle, so you have room to explode
  • Small goalies start lower to spring up
10 Min Walk the Line Drill
  • Have players line up and be syncronized, walk a line with air saving, top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left
  • Make sure second foot moves
5 Min Water
10 Min Multiple Number and Color Cones
  • Place four cones with different colors in two groups.
  • Have two goalies stand face to face in the middle of the cones
  • Hands behind the back facing each other, call out a color and players compete to touch cones
10 Min In the goal low footwork cones and numbers
  • Place 3 colored cones in an arc
  • Place 3 swaxlax numbered balls on top of cones
  • Have goalies move to save on the color or number
5 Min Water
10 Min Two Goalies - toss and switch
  • Two goalies toss and balls to each other on opposite hands

Two goalies - Swing arms toss ball

  • One goalie has two balls, swings their arms, and randomly releases to toss it to another

Two goalies - Drop balls

  • One goalie with two balls, they randomly drop one and the other goalie has to catch it

10 Min 6 point shooting
